“In Yoga, it works like this: twelve years of Hatha Yoga, more than six years of Raja Yoga, more than three years of Mantra Yoga, more than one year of Laya Yoga is equal to the result of one full year of Kundalini Yoga "

Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini means “Coiled snake” in Sanskrit.  It is a form of divine feminine energy and consciousness which is located at the base of the spine, in the muladhara, since birth. It is the source of the life force (pranic energy, chi and bio-energy)

Kundalini is symbolically represented as an evolving snake or spirals. The awakening of the Kundalini energy means that we control our own life and death, we become consciousness beings. Through Kundalini Yoga we work on a physical, mental, emotional and energetic level.

During the Kundalini Yoga sessions (called kriyas) we work breathing exercises (pranayama); meditation with mantras and hand positions (mudras); and postures (asanas).

Get to know Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini Yoga unites the glandular system energy with the central nervous system energy and creates a state of sensitivity that stimulates the brain.

The result is crystal clear clarity in perceptions, thoughts, and insights. That is the reason why it is often called the “Yoga of Consciousness.”

Descalzos al Bosque offers individual and groups sessions of Kundalini Yoga focused on the needs of the participants. With kundalini yoga we can work on many specific topics, such as a broken heart, bereavement, insomnia, lack of concentration, fertility, also liver and kidney problems or other health disorders.
